Tony Skinner is Shephard Media’s Creative Director, overseeing the strategic direction, content development and project delivery of the company’s Studio division.
Tony took over the Shephard rotorcraft portfolio in 2009, after five years with Jane’s Defence Weekly, where he was latterly the magazine’s features editor. Before moving to the UK, Tony was a reporter for a regional New Zealand newspaper, where he had the “cat-up-tree” beat.
Wilder Alejandro Sánchez is an analyst who covers defense & security, geopolitical, and trade issues across the Western Hemisphere and the post-Soviet world.
His research interests include unmanned aerial vehicles, the rise of Latin American defence industries, UN peacekeeping operations, and the role of militaries in humanitarian assistance/disaster relief operations.
William holds an MSc in Defence, Development, and Diplomacy from Durham University, where his research focused on power projection in the Middle East and foreign policy effects on international security. He also holds a BA in International Relations from the University of York.
Neil Thompson is a freelance journalist for Shephard and other publishers. He currently works as a senior analyst at geopolitical risk firm Emergent Risk International covering Europe and Asia.
