FLIR Systems consolidates global operations
FLIR Systems has announced its intention to realign its global operations as it reports disappointing preliminary figures for the third quarter.
‘While we are disappointed in the preliminary results for the third quarter, we have also taken steps, above and beyond those related to our strategic review, to reduce costs in response to the current operating environment,’ said president and CEO of FLIR, Andy Teich, on 15 October.
A major reorganisation includes the closure of six small sites in the US and Europe to transfer these operations to larger FLIR facilities. The company has not yet identified the sites
