Tethered UAS sought by UK MoD
The UK MoD is looking to procure 14 tethered UAS platforms for use at its sites, supplying elevated ISR capabilities for a minimum endurance of 12 hours.
According to the MoD spares and repairs will also be required as part of the contract, along with the service, repair and return of equipment sent back by the operator to the manufacturer.
The contract is valued at £2 million ($2.6 million), while a train the trainer (T3) programme must also be provided by companies looking to respond to the Expression of Interest (EoI).
Additionally, the contract is expected to commence in March
