Servosila introduces disaster response robot

 A new man-portable robot designed for disaster response has been launched by robotics systems manufacturer Servosila.

The company stated that their ground robot called ‘Engineer’ has the same capabilities of larger truck carried platforms, but is light enough to be carried in a backpack by the operator to an urban disaster site or other emergency situation.

Engineer can serve as a portable remote inspection and engineering vehicle, features hardened electronics and sensors, live video streaming cameras, and a robotic arm.
