Ninox 40 Handheld undergoes demonstration in US
SpearUAV has successfully demonstrated the handheld version of its Ninox 40 ruggedised ISTAR UAV to military forces and law enforcement agencies in the US, the Israeli company announced on 1 December.
The live demonstration was witnessed by DoD officials and representatives from the US Army, USMC, USN and US Special Operations Command. It ‘proved the advanced capabilities of the encapsulated drone system, giving forces instant ISTAR advantages’, SpearUAV noted.
Ninox 40 Handheld offers an instant launch capability and provides immediate intelligence capabilities to all kinds of tactical unit.
Specifically designed for single-user operation and weighing under 250g (within regulatory limitations), Ninox 40 Handheld can be launched on the move and from under cover. It has a flight endurance of up to 40 minutes with ISTAR capabilities and day/night camera for enhanced situational awareness, as well as an automatic tracking functionality.
