Aeros plan Ukraine surveillance

Ukraine's border security is set for a re-vamp following a deal what will improve its surveillance systems.

The signing of an MoU between the Ukrainian State Border Service and US-based OEM Aeros will see the development of an integrated surveillance system along the country’s eastern land and sea borders.

Following the annexation of the Crimea by Russia in 2014 the eastern borders of Ukraine have been considerably weakened after fierce fighting between Russian-backed combatants, and government forces. De-badged Russian combat forces have also reportedly been heavily involved in the conflict.
