Industry splurge on new drones, payloads

The drone industry revealed a series of new platforms and payloads at the recent Commercial UAV Expo, held in Las Vegas from 31 October to 2 November, as the conveyor belt of innovation and repetition continues unabated.

With forecasts that the commercial sector is worth in the tens and even hundreds of billions it is little wonder that designers and manufacturers are so keen to try and capture even a tiny portion of this market.
