GAO calls for more comprehensive UAS planning

Pointing to the US Department of Defense (DoD) requested for “about $6.1 billion in fiscal year 2010 for new unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and for expanded capabilities in existing ones,” the US Government Accountability Office (GAO) has released a new report (GAO 10-331) calling for “comprehensive planning and a results-oriented training strategy…to support growing inventories.”
