SOFIC 2017: US SOF boot up

Force components across the US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) are to receive an uplift in tactical footwear capable of supporting training and operations in extreme environments, the Tampa-based command has disclosed.

Operators from US Army Special Forces Groups and US Navy SEAL Teams, amongst others, are soon to be equipped with specialist footwear to be worn during jungle warfare and cold weather operations (CWO), according to the Federal Business Opportunities website.
