SOFIC 2017: SOCOM's fixed-wing refresh (video)

US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) is currently undertaking a comprehensive recapitalisation of its fixed wing assets, mainly in the form of the new MC-130J and AC-130J gunship aircraft.

The office responsible for this effort, Col Eric Forsyth, PEO Fixed Wing at USSCOM, told Shephard more about this programme as well as other challenges his office is facing as the technological and tactical environment continues to evolve.
