SHOT Show: New enhanced clip-on sight for SOF applications

On display for the first time at SHOT Show, the F7030 Generation 3 Clip-on Weapon Sight is being aimed towards the special operations market. 

The new sight was developed in a collaborative agreement between Harris Corporation and Knight’s Armament Company. The two companies first launched the clip-on sight at last year’s AUSA annual meeting in October 2017.

Clipping onto the mounting rail directly in front of a sniper’s day sight telescopic optic, the system enhances the current AN/PVS-30 design with the addition of high performance Generation 3 night vision image intensification.
