Pentagon to identify specialised CT opportunities

The US Department of Defense Combating Terrorism Technical Support Office (CTTSO) has announced an upcoming Advance Planning Briefing for Industry (APBI) along with specific focus areas of interest for that organisation.

The CTTSO was initially established in 1999 by the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low-Intensity Conflict (ASD SO/LIC) to consolidate its research and development programmes.

The office has the current mission of ‘identifying and developing capabilities to combat terrorism and irregular adversaries and to deliver these capabilities to DoD components and interagency partners through rapid research and development, advanced studies and technical innovation, and provision of support
