New combat drysuit in the spotlight
Typhoon International promoted the latest member in its family of drysuits at the Underwater Defence Technology (UDT) exhibition last week, specifically designed to support combat diving and surface operations.
The latest addition to the family allows end users to operate across multiple environments while wearing a single garment, industry sources explained to Shephard.
Providing a similar capability to the US Special Operations Command’s (USSOCOM’s) Maritime Assault Suit System (MASS), the drysuit is used by special operations personnel to keep dry during sub-surface insertions as well as allowing them to operate on the surface or on board a vessel without
