Albwardy Marine Engineering, a part of Damen Shipyards, has delivered a new patrol vessel named AD Comet to Mohamed Saqr Alfalahi General Maintenance, as announced by Damen on 3 February.

The new aluminium vessel, which has a length of 20 metres, will replace Mohamed Saqr Alfalahi's current vessel. It will perform general and patrol duties in Abu Dhabi waters.

The patrol vessel is a twin-screw vessel that was built as per latest standards in Albwardy's closed new-building shed at Sharjah.

Yuji Nakamori, general manager, Mohamed Saqr Alfalahi General Maintenance, said: 'The delivery of this vessel is another signal of our commitment to provide the high standards of facilities and services required by our client.'
