First-time DSEI exhibitor Vector Aerospace is seeing multiple military opportunities as governments from around the world seek to extend the service life of their aircraft fleets for contemporary operations.
The company’s government business executive Nigel Amphlett commented to Shephard that Vector had been speaking with countries around the world, from Botswana to Romania, at this week’s show.
‘We are trying to break into the civil market but we are seeing plenty of military opportunities because governments are not necessarily wanting to buy new [aircraft]. They are looking to extend the service of their platforms for modern theatres,’ he said.
