Quad-A 2009 - Conceptual medical UAS pod begins flight testing
US Army Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) developers have conducted flight testing on “Quick Meds,” a precision UAS medical delivery system designed for use in emergency situations where traditional supply methods might place additional Soldiers at risk.
According to Mike Cole, team lead in RDECOM’s System Simulation and Development Directorate, the precision delivery system “was designed for a tactical sized UAV.”
