Commercial UAV Expo 2018: PrecisionHawk expands BVLOS capability

Beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations was a hot topic at this year’s Commercial UAV Expo in Las Vegas and is the next step for those who want to push the boundaries of unmanned aviation.

However, regulation remains an issue and in the US waivers must be acquired from the FAA to carry out BVLOS operations.
