Orion UAV shown for first time
The first Russian-made MALE class UAV, for a wide variety of military applications, was revealed at MAKS 2017 aerospace & defence exhibition near Moscow on 18-23 July.
Manufactured by the privately-owned Kronstadt Group company of St Petersburg, the Orion has already been tested and is currently on offer to export customers.
The foreign sales will be undertaken through Rosoboronexport, Russia’s monopolist arms export agency.
