DSEI 2017: Delft Dynamics displays DroneCatcher

Dutch company Delft Dynamics displayed its new DroneCatcher counter UAS system for the first time at DSEI 2017.

First unveiled on 8 September by the Netherlands Deputy Chief of Defence Lt Gen M. Wijnen, DroneCatcher is one of few counter UAS systems capable of eliminating rogue drones by catching and removing the threat in the air.

Armed with a netgun, DroneCatcher is able to support both military and commercial unmanned missions and is supported by the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee (Military Police), the Dutch National Police and the Dutch Ministry of Safety and Justice.
