Gentex wins USSOCOM helmet contract
Gentex has received an IDIQ contract from the US Department of Defense to supply personnel equipment for US Special Operations Forces.
Under the contract – worth up to $95 million over five years with a two-year option period – Gentex will supply SOF personal equipment advance requirements (SPEAR) coxswain helmet systems.
The contract will run through July 2024.
