Japan to set up DARPA-style institute to tackle evolving threat of cyber warfare
Japan’s Ministry of Defense is devoting government-level effort and funding to tackling the growing problem of cyber warfare.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) regarding the generation of the Composite Special Operations Component Command (C-SOCC) by Belgium, Denmark and the Netherlands is, pending political approval in the three countries, expected to be signed in March 2018, a senior source has disclosed.
Speaking to Shephard on 12th January 2018, Colonel Maurice Timmermans, Chief of Staff, Task Force Netherlands SOCOM, explained how the defence ministers and special operations commanders from the triumverate of countries continue to work on the MoU.
