CACI selects VATC for SOFPREP support
Visual Awareness Technologies and Consulting (VATC) has been selected to support CACI on a Special Operations Forces Planning, Rehearsal and Execution Preparation (SOFPREP) contract. VATC's sub-contract is valued at $4.2 million annually, the company announced on 5 April.
VATC will support CACI by delivering labour, equipment and materials required to support the special reconnaissance, surveillance and exploitation programme. The company will provide geospatial database and system engineers to support geospatial intelligence collection, processing and dissemination for Special Operations Command.
The SOFPREP programme creates and maintains 3D visualisation databases and enhanced geospatial data for simulated training of special operations forces.
VATC's contract with CACI is renewable for the base of the award, plus three years.
