Serco and Briggs Marine launch joint bid for Marine Services 2022 contract
Serco and Briggs Marine launched a joint bid for the UK Royal Navy’s (RN’s) next generation of outsourced marine services, referred to as Marine Services 2022.
Since 2007, the two companies have already jointly provided the RN with marine services under the current outsourcing arrangement with the MoD (Provision of Marine Services and Range Safety and Aircrew Training contracts).
Kevin Craven, CEO of Serco UK & Europe said: ‘We have kept our promises to the Royal Navy and UK taxpayer throughout the Provision of Marine Services contract, despite its challenging financial performance.’
