Raytheon to supply JSOWs to Qatar
Raytheon Missile Systems has received a $172.8 million contract from the US Department of Defense to provide AGM-154C Block III Joint Standoff Weapons (JSOW) to the government of Qatar.
The contract will see Raytheon supply 200 AGM-154C Block III JSOW, 212 containers, various component parts and support equipment for spares, and engineering and technical support.
JSOW is a family of air-to-ground weapons that employ an integrated GPS-inertial navigation system and thermal imaging infrared seeker.
