Nigerian Navy poised to receive more French-built vessels
Despite temporary COVID-19 related setbacks earlier in 2020, French shipbuilder OCEA continues to deliver more patrol vessels to the Nigerian Navy as it fulfils contracts for six patrol vessels and a survey ship.
Following the delivery by early December of a 35m FPB 110 MKII fast patrol boat (NNS Sokoto - P193) and a 17m C-Falcon interceptor craft (P272) to the Nigerian Navy, two more patrol craft (the FPB 110 Mk II boat NNS Aba and C-Falcon craft P271, pictured) are also on their way to Nigeria aboard the heavy transport ship Grietje.
