New Pakistani OPV transits the Bosphorus
The newest warship in the Pakistan Navy passed south through Istanbul on 29 February, albeit without certain weapons and sensors that will be installed when it reaches its destination.
PNS Yarmook (pictured) is making a three-day port visit in Gölcük, the main naval base of the Turkish Navy, before continuing her delivery voyage to Pakistan.
It was seen that Yarmook was only fitted with a navigation radar as she passed through the Bosphorus. There is space reserved for a main gun forward of the bridge. The mast has also ample room for additional radars and other electronic equipment.
