D&S 2017: Thailand to host ASEAN fleet review
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of ASEAN, Thailand is hosting an ASEAN International Fleet Review 2017 for the first time on 20 November.
The fleet review will boast 40 warships, including 14 Royal Thai Navy (RTN) vessels and 26 ships from 18 other countries. These ships will be accompanied by 21 aircraft, of which 12 will be from the RTN and nine from the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF).
The RTN is hosting this review that will feature warships from ASEAN member navies as well as invited non-ASEAN nations. The activities will be conducted in and around Pattaya Bay in
