FDC/aerofilter continues Global Expansion with ANAC and TC IBF Certification
FDC/aerofilter, global industry leader in the design and manufacture of advanced turbine engine filtration systems announced today that the Brazilian National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) issued an air worthiness directive for use of the FDC inlet barrier filter on the EC130 and EC120 aircraft.
This ANAC certification, in addition to the previously certified AS350, provides engine protection across the Eurocopter single engine fleet. FDC has previously achieved ANAC certification of the Bell-206 and Sikorsky S-76.
Other recent FDC certification includes Transport Canada issued STC for all Sikorsky S-76 Turbomeca Arriel I & II powered helicopters. This STC release completes the full line of certification for the FDC S-76 line to include EASA, ANAC, FAA, and JCAB approval.
These international aeronautical airworthiness certifications enhance FDC’s global presence as the industry leader in barrier filter technology. FDC President Andrew Rowen, who envisions FDC’s global market position as a significant factor in FDC’s increase in international revenues explains; “we are making significant inroads into new markets with strong demand for advanced engine protection. I’m especially pleased that this important safety feature is now available to all global operators.”
