Farnborough: Maiden ‘unmanned’ flight scheduled for SW-4
AgustaWestland expects to make the first unmanned flight of its SW-4 Solo Optionally Piloted Helicopter (OPH) by the end of the year, company executives have revealed.
The decision will have important ramifications for the UK and the Italian MoDs, both of which are in the midst of explorative programmes aimed at understanding the potential benefits and impacts of bringing UAVs into service.
