New DVCS6100-equipped Bell 429 deliveries

Mercy Flight Inc. of Buffalo, NY and San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM recently took delivery of new Bell 429 light-twin EMS helicopter equipped with Becker Avionics Digital Audio Systems, the DVCS6100.

The Bell 429 for Mercy Flight was completed and delivered by Bell Helicopter Piney Flats, TN and the San Juan Regional Medical Center Bell 429 was completed and delivered by United Rotorcraft, Englewood, CO (an Air Methods subsidiary). The DVCS6100 was chosen due to its unique ability to effectively manage and control all audio sources in the aircraft. Becker's Digital multi-channel audio and intercom system, with its software configurable profiles, provides the flexibility to specifically customize the system to meet the demanding operational requirements of Air Medical Transport organizations.

The DVCS6100 manages all transceivers, receivers and audio warning sources in one central system and provides simulcast capabilities on 8 channels.
