Metro STC medical interior for H135
Metro Aviation has achieved a supplemental type certificate (STC) for its medical interior for the Airbus H135 T3H platform with Helionix, the company announced on 20 June.
Outfitted for STAT MedEvac, the STC features aspects of Metro’s air medical package with standardised equipment, modernised to match the programme’s fleet of aircraft.
The H135 family of helicopters have long been associated with versatility and endurance, and the spacious interior and payload capacity makes them ideal for emergency medical system configuration.
Metro’s STC configuration is designed to allow critical care patients to be transported safely and quickly, featuring clamshell doors and ambulance-like loading systems. It can also accommodate up to three medical personnel.
