Medical Aviation Services has just delivered its latest MD 902 Explorer Air Ambulance - this one to Herts Air Ambulance.

The helicopter, G-HAAT was delivered on target for its official public unveiling amidst spectacular firework celebrations in Stevenage last week.

The Explorer has been specially equipped and painted in Herts Air Ambulance livery by MAS at its Gloucestershire Airport facilities.

It is now based at North Weald, where MAS has been working closely with Herts Air Ambulance, training its medical crews in readiness to operate Hertfordshire's very own helicopter emergency medical service.

This delivery brings the number of air ambulance equipped Explorers now operating in the UK to a total of ten.
