Helicentre refreshes EASA FI(H) course
The Helicentre Aviation Academy has launched a new two-day EASA Helicopter Flight Instructor (FI(H)) refresher seminar, the company announced on 1 May.
The course is an overhaul of its earlier FI(H) seminar, updated to give existing flight instructors a fresh approach to the latest industry-relevant topics, regulatory developments, and best practices in an effort to improve safety awareness and standardisation within the helicopter training environment.
The programme will include a General Aviation Safety Council presentation on the causes, consequences and prevention of airspace infringements; threat and error management training; and CAA updates including the Skyway Code and the Skywise news alerting service.
The seminars will provide instructors with revalidation or renewal of their FI(H) certificate, subject to meeting the other requirements of Part FCL.940.FI.
