Helibras has delivered two H135 helicopters to Brazil's Integrated Air Operations Coordination (CIOPAER), the company announced on 19 October.

According to the company, these are the first H135s to be delivered with Helionix in police version. The aircraft will be deployed for public security missions within Ceará and will provide support in aeromedical operations in the interior of the state.

The H135’s Helionix system has a modern human-machine interface and features four-axis autopilot and displays all flight parameters as well as aircraft management data on a single screen.

Lt Col Marcus Costa of Ciopaer, said: ‘The pilot's work is facilitated by the stability of the aircraft, keeping it fixed at the same point. It has the capacity to transport two pilots and five crew, flight autonomy of more than three hours and special equipment such as: searchlight; electric winch; kit for rescue and infrared camera.’

Ciopaer currently operates six Airbus helicopters, two AS350s and four bi-turbine EC135 and EC145s.
