Heli Union leases additional AW139
Heli Union has leased an additional Leonardo AW139 helicopter to support its offshore helicopter operations in Gabon, the company announced on 19 January.
The helicopter will be deployed in support of a new contract for offshore passenger crew change from Port Gentil Airport to the designated offshore base.
Heli Union is currently operating eight AW139s in Africa and in Asia.
Jean-Baptiste OLRY, sales and operations director, Heli Union, said: ‘AW139 is now becoming one of the most demanded helicopter types in oil and gas industry.
‘We are pleased to lease yet another AW139 to support our offshore helicopter operations. This shows that our fleet keeps on growing and we are heading in the right direction.’
