Airbus Helicopters has made the delivery of the first VIP version of its H175 medium utility helicopter, the company announced on 12 July. The aircraft was delivered to an undisclosed European customer for personal transport.

The VIP version of the H175 features a soundproof climate controlled cabin, in-flight entertainment system with LCD screens, in-flight connectivity with satcom, mood lighting, electronically dimmable windows, three steps electrical footstep, and cabin layout with two distinct seating areas – a sofa-style seating area and a forward zone.

Passengers are also provided with in-flight connectivity through the in-flight entertainment system with LCD screens, moving map and images provided by the tail fin and tail skid cameras – all controllable through dedicated touchscreens or personal devices.

The H175 can perform several operations in commercial mission segments, including offshore transportation and public services missions.

The delivery of the second VIP version of H175 will be made later in 2016, with first units of the public services version to reach the market in late 2017.
