Bristow UK has received a contract from TAQA to provide helicopter offshore crew change services to support its operations in the Paragon MSS1 in the East Shetland basin, the company announced on 8 March.

The contract extends Bristow’s partnership with TAQA, a government-controlled energy holding company of Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The deal, which commenced on 2 March, will run for an initial 18-months. Bristow is working in partnership with Eastern Airways to deliver the services using a Sikorsky S-92 and Saab 2000 aircraft.

Matt Rhodes, UK oil and gas director, Bristow, said: 'I would like to thank the UK commercial and operations teams for the hard work and dedication that resulted in securing and delivering this work. This opportunity will demonstrate the flexibility that a combined Bristow and Eastern Airways service can provide to the oil and gas industry.’
