Bell details Japan orders
On 14 October Bell Helicopter signed a purchase agreement to deliver a Bell 407GXP helicopter to EuroTec Japan – the first of the type to be ordered in Japan.
EuroTec Japan is a leasing transport, service and support company. The aircraft will be outfitted for corporate and VIP transport throughout the region.
Masaki Ogura, president of EuroTec, said: ‘We are thrilled to be the first in Japan to sign for the Bell 407GXP. The smooth, quiet ride, combined with the high performance of the aircraft is exactly what I was looking for to quickly and comfortably conduct business throughout the region.’
Also on 14 October, Bell Helicopter announced that Japan’s SECO International has signed a letter of intent (LOI) for Bell’s Customer Advantage Plan (CAP) coverage of its two future Bell 505 aircraft.
The CAP provides a fixed-cost-per-flight-hour service option for predictable maintenance costs, priority access to parts and assemblies, and ease of maintenance and planning.
This is the first customer to sign for the plan in Japan.
Glenn Isbell, executive vice president, customer support and services for Bell Helicopter, said: ‘We are delighted to provide SECO International with a reliable support solution giving them peace of mind in their operations. Bell Helicopter is and will continue to be the leader in customer support with innovative programmes like our CAPs. We continue to work hard to provide the most value, responsiveness and cost competiveness for our customers.’
