Airbus Helicopters H125 order, delivery
Airbus Helicopters Japan will supply an H125 helicopter to Mikikanko under a purchasing agreement announced on 13 October.
Mikikanko – a real estate company – will deploy the aircraft in support of new and existing business. The aircraft will be delivered in 2017.
Takeshi Asakawa, representative director of Mikikanko, said: ‘We are extremely excited to introduce Airbus Helicopters’ H125 as our first helicopter. The aircraft will be our important workhorse to be deployed for our current and new businesses. We are looking forward to building a long-term business relationship with Airbus Helicopters Japan.’
Also in Japan, Airbus Helicopters has delivered a new H125 to Toho Air Service. The aircraft – the tenth of the type delivered to the customer – will be used for passenger and cargo transportation missions.
Masayuki Udagawa, president of Toho Air Service, said: ‘We are very happy to receive our 10th H125. The proven aircraft has been a core workhorse to our operations, thanks to its high performance, flexibility and efficiency. Airbus Helicopters’ products including H125 have played an important role in our growth for years.’
