Thales introduces new ASW acoustic capability
Thales is currently developing a new acoustic sonobouy, the Sono-Flash, which will be showcased for the first time at Euronaval in Paris In October.
As France continues to develop sovereign technologies in the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) domain Thales developed Sono-Flash with the support of the French procurement agency, the DGA, and the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
The Sono-Flash was showcased for the first time during a pre-Euronaval event held in Brest, France. No images of the Sono-Flash were made available.
