Sweden's new SIGINT vessel launched in Poland
At the launch ceremony of the Royal Swedish Navy’s future SIGINT vessel at the PGZ Stocznia Wojenna in Gdynia, northern Poland, officials from Sweden’s Saab described the event as a ‘great milestone as the company looks to expand its in-country footprint.
Saab is the main contractor in Sweden’s signals intelligence programme, the construction of which was to be performed in Poland under a 2017 contract signed with the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV).
The launch on 17 April of the future HMS Artemis took place in the presence of members of the Swedish Navy as well as representatives of Saab
