Philippines receives final TC-90s from Japan

Japan has completed delivery of all five second-hand Beechcraft King Air aircraft to the Philippines, with the final three planes participating in a turnover ceremony on 26 March.

They were accepted by the Philippine Navy’s (PN) Naval Air Group at the ceremony at Sangley Point, Cavite, that was attended by Defense Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana and Japanese Ambassador Koji Haneda.

The trio of aircraft, known as the TC-90 in Japanese service, had flown to the Philippines accompanied by a Japanese P-3C Orion maritime patrol aircraft.
