ORP Slazak enters service with the Polish Navy
A two-decade long programme to develop and build the offshore patrol vessel ORP Slazak moved a step closer to conclusion in late-November as the vessel was finally commissioned into service with the Polish Navy.
Held on 28 November in Gdynia in the presence of Poland’s Minister of Defence Mariusz Blaszczak and representatives of the Polish Navy, the vessel is expected to reach Final Operating Capability in the coming months. The commissioning took place during celebrations to mark the service’s 101st anniversary.
