Naval Group establishes subsidiary in Netherlands
Naval Group has launched a subsidiary in the Netherlands, called Naval Group Netherlands, to support international naval programmes.
Naval Group Netherlands’ prime objectives will be to build strategic relationships with Netherlands maritime partners to support future potential programmes such as the Netherlands' Walrus submarine replacement programme.
Hervé Guillou, chief executive officer, Naval Group, said: ‘Within the frame of the ongoing Walrus class replacement programme, Naval Group has developed an industrial cooperation plan that currently includes the participation of more than 70 Dutch companies and knowledge and research centres.
‘To this respect, the Dutch Golden Triangle brings a robust ecosystem for the construction and the maintenance of a new generation of conventional submarines manufactured for the Netherlands, in the Netherlands and by the Netherlands.’
