MBDA evolves maritime domain missile offerings

As the company expands its maritime missile offerings MBDA  revealed that it has tested its MMP anti-tank system in the naval domain for the first time.

The MMP, known as Missile Moyen Portee in France, has been developed for the French military as a replacement for Milan antitank system. The company is now looking the maritime domain for the system.

Stefano Bertuzzy, head of naval systems at MBDA, said the test took place in September 2018 but he could not detail where the trials were undertaken. The maritime MMP will be present at this year’s Euronaval in Paris.
