ManTech has received a $71 million four-year task order from the US Air Force for technology transformation in maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft, the company announced on 2 August.

The task order covers a modernisation initiative to transform mission systems in US Navy manned maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft. ManTech will replace legacy systems with advanced technology solutions in P-3C Orion and P-8A Poseidon aircraft used in anti-submarine and anti-surface EW and ISR missions.

Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech, said: ‘ManTech’s commitment to developing and deploying advanced technology solutions for these unique ISR and electronic warfare systems demonstrates how we’re bringing digital to the mission in ways that solve our customer’s toughest challenges.’
