LIMA 2015: S&T Airborne Systems ready to build on Malaysian success

S&T Airborne Systems, a Swedish company that integrates airborne maritime surveillance solutions, is seeking to build on past successes in the Malaysian market as growing opportunities appear in Southeast Asia. Indeed, the region is now becoming the firm’s largest market compared to its traditional Scandinavian stronghold.

Olov Fäst, director of global sales, told Shephard the Southeast Asian region needs resources to police the various maritime security issues that exist. Integral to future sales for his company is the MSS 7000 maritime surveillance system currently nearing completion in its development.
