LAAD 2019: SEA offers torpedo launchers for Brazil's new corvettes
UK-based company SEA is joining forces with Brazil’s SIATT after signing an MoU for the production of the former's Torpedo Launcher system on 2 April at LAAD 2019 in Rio de Janeiro.
The announcement comes following the Águas Azuis consortium being selected as the preferred bidder for the construction of four vessels under the Tamandaré-class corvette (CCT) programme. SEA hopes that its torpedo launchers will be integrated onto the new class.
