GCC turns up the volume
Port and coastal facility infrastructure developments ongoing among GCC countries are providing a number of opportunities for international defence and security companies, particularly for those in the acoustic deterrent market.
US-based LRAD Corporation is currently engaged in two integrated infrastructure security projects, one government and one commercial oil and natural gas (ONG) sites, in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to a spokesperson, there are opportunities in the market particularly given the technical experience companies in the US and Europe are likely to have, compared to regional counterparts.
