Euronaval 2018: 'Light' boom as Type 31e passes PQQ
Numerous shipbuilders and designers showcased a range of light multirole frigates and corvettes at this year’s Euronaval in Paris as demand for such platforms increases.
One such programme is the well-known Type 31e requirement for the UK’s Royal Navy. While the programme had hit some stumbling blocks earlier in 2018, a new deadline for the restarted pre-qualification questionnaire came on 19 October, the UK MoD said.
